This section is a new monthly feature in Iowa Farm Science. It is similar in purpose to the former "Your Experiment Station Reports" sections but has been changed to provide a wider and more varid coverage of the activities of your agricultural and home economics experiment station.
Following winter advances, prices of meat animals reached some of the highest points for several years. Prices of choice steers, utility cows and feeder cattle have been higher than at any time since 1952. Hogs went up to highs not equaled since 1954. Lamb prices didn't quite reach the 1957 peak but, otherwise, were the highest since 1954.
