Abstract
Iowa's new pasteurization law means safer milk for the people of Iowa. Safer milk means less danger from the spread of infectious milk-borne diseases. As a result, fewer Iowa people will suffer from such diseases as typhoid fever, diptheria, scarlet fever, tuberculosis, and undulant fever.
