Abstract
A main concern when an individual gets infected by, and recovers, from COVID-19 is that the long-term effects are still unknown. Unfortunately it is hard to be a hundred percent sure what is to come in different aspects of the body, but there are studies that are trying to look beyond what is known from the short-term effects. My curiosity brought me to research the topic of whether or not there will be long term effects on someone’s cognitive functions due to previously being infected by COVID -19. It has been shown that there are short term effects on an infected patient’s cognitive function, but what about months or years after?
