Abstract
Not only did Dr. Donald Adams receive the Scavma Teaching award, but he was also the recipient of the Norden Distinguished Teacher Award. Dr. Adams has served on a number of College and University committees such as Faculty Senate. He is currently on the Academic Standards Committee and is a new appointee on the Admissions Committee. In 1960, Dr. Adams attained a B.S. degree in Zoology from the University of California at Davis. He continued his education at Chico State College in California to earn a General Secondary Teaching Credential and an M.S. in Biology. Cr. Adams accepted a position in 1970 as an Assistant Professor of Veterinary Anatomy at Michigan State University. In 1974, He moved to Iowa to assume a position in the Dept. of Veterinary Anatomy.
