Abstract

In the spring of 1972, the veterinary College at Iowa State University began the most extensive program of continuing education that it has ever sponsored. The new program allows one third of the senior class at a time to have free periods sometime between June and March after their junior year. Each student has a total of four months off, and these are divided to fit the senior's preference as much as possible.
