dc.description.abstract	<p>In two large respects does the forest tree nursery at Iowa State College fulfill its existence, namely, (1) it offers favorable conditions for supplementing the undergraduate's as well as the graduate student's class work with practice, and (2) it is a source for planting stock to carry out experimental and practical work of the extension service for restocking woodlots, establishing erosion projects, erecting shelterbelts and windbreaks and for reforestation work.</p>
