dc.description.abstract	<p>Worth County is located in north central Iowa in the fifth tier of counties west of the Mississippi River and bordering the state of Minnesota on the north. It is partly in the Iowan drift soil area and partly in the Wisconsin drift soil area. Hence, the soils of the county are all of glacial origin, being derived in major part from the Iowan drift and to a smaller extent from the Wisconsin drift.</p>
