dc.description.abstract <p>The RFC/NDE System comprises automated eddy current and ultrasonic inspection stations developed by Systems Research Laboratories for Air Force depot level inspections of aircraft engines. The system performance is being evaluated through a series of experiments whose objectives are to quantify crack detection capability as a function of crack size in various engine components. This paper presents the eddy current results from the first (preliminary) phase of this evaluation.</p>
