An instructional system on woodland management was developed for Iowa high school instructors. It contains six instructional units. The topics include: Trees for Schools, Introduction to Woodland Management, Christmas Tree Production and Marketing, Wood as Energy, Managing Woodlands for Sawlog and Veneer Production, and Reforesting Iowa--The Establishment and Care of Tree Plantings. An adoption-diffusion instructional model was created to facilitate the development of the instructional package.
