dc.description.abstract The purpose of this study is to examine the existing programs in the industrial education departments of the nine Tennessee colleges which offer the bachelor's degree, in order to reveal whether any uniformity of agreement exists in course offerings, course requirements for the bachelor's degree, quarter hours offered by each school in industrial education, professional preparation of the staff, titles of faculty members, placement service for graduates, four-year curriculum in industrial education, state certification requirements for degree, industrial education major, degree conferred, names of the departments, division of the school year, membership in accrediting agencies, and objectives of the industrial education curriculums.
