dc.description.abstract	<p>Current ultrasonic inspection of aircraft components often employs standard immersion test techniques and equipment. This includes the use of an immersion test tank, C-scan recorder, flaw detector and bridge system. As a direct result of the increasing needs on the system, a program was initiated to increase the inspection rates and the quality of the inspection.</p>
