Abstract
Functional aging requires lifelong learning. This might be achieved through motivating arts-related practices like stage combat. However, the health effects of stage combat practice and training are unknown. This observational study aimed to find associations between stage combat expertise and physical activity with motor health, cognitive health, and well-being in a population of expert practitioners of stage combat. Stage combat is supported as a potentially health-promoting activity.
