dc.description.abstract <p>Metallic nanowire arrays having high optical transmission and electric conductivity show promise for use as transparent electrodes. Transparent electrodes require high transmission of visible light and good electrical conductivity for charge transfer. High-aspectratio metallic nanowires for transparent electrode applications can be fabricated by e-beam angular deposition on polymer templates. These polymer templates are made with interference holography and nanoimprinting using a polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) mold. The details of the fabrication processes including interference holography, micro-transfer molding, nanoimprint, and shadow angle depositions will be discussed.</p>
