dc.description.abstract Architecture has resources established from a culture of customs that architects have passed from one generation to the next. Through praxis of architecture, a building is generated by selecting architectural customs valued to be re-presented for future generations. This transfer of practice, established from the generation of a specific building, acknowledges and bonds with previous generations of architects. The social praxis of architecture is affected by an architect or a committee of architects who establish an organizing 'system' or 'agreement' for a logic that directs an architectural intent. These forms of consensus spawn design from established architectural knowledge and represent the truths of the profession adding to the cultural knowledge of the next generation.
