dc.description.abstract <p>After MaxWeight scheduling algorithm came out, Cross-layer wireless networking optimization became a popular direction on enhancing wireless networking performance to the next level. To support research in Cross-layer wireless networking optimization, I developed a set of tools: Pathloss holder, MaxWeight scheduler, Dynamic Multi-Generator (D-MGEN) and Centralized scheduler based on Extendable Mobile Ad-hoc Network Emulator (EMANE) [1]. Using the four major components, I built the connection between existing protocols. Contribute to it, researchers now can test their optimization algorithms, including first-order momentum-based algorithms and second-order algorithms in a more realistic environment.</p>
