dc.description.abstract | <p>Eddy current nondestructive evaluation (NDE) is one of the most important NDE techniques. Due to its inductive nature, eddy current testing only requires one-sided access to the test piece. Therefore, it can be used in complex test geometries, where many other NDE techniques cannot be easily applied. Typical applications of eddy current testing include the inspection of steam generator tubing in nuclear power plants and the inspection of surface structures of aircraft.</p> | |
