| dc.description.abstract | <p>In the spring of 2005, Chuck was invited by the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics to submit a proposal of four large paintings that would be on permanent display in the Pediatrics Wing. These paintings were to be based on illustrations from <em>Jungle Gym Jitters</em>.</p> <p>This was the largest and last mural painted for the University of Iowa, and one which took Chuck several months to complete.</p> <p><em>Rollercoaster</em> includes ninety characters, including two of the author's childhood favorites, Popeye the sailor and the Grinch.</p> | |
