Abstract

In 1977, 18 yellow plants were found in an F2 population of a cross be-tween two strains of soybeans, T235 x PI 86024, both with normal green foliage. Segregation fit a ratio of 15 green: 1 yellow (Table 1). All F3 seedlings grown from seeds harvested from yellow F2 plants turned yellow as the plants grew.
