dc.description.abstract Cryptography is a rapidly evolving field of study, which in turn necessitates that the modernization of existing course material be undertaken regularly. Application of Cryptographic Concepts to Cyber Security is one such course where modernization efforts are currently being undertaken. Over the duration of this course, students complete twelve weekly lab exercises covering various topics. These labs play an essential role in ensuring students comprehensively understand the materials taught during lectures. As part of this creative component, I have elected to help further this modernization effort by creating numerous new labs covering various topics. These new labs are based on an updated curriculum and include topics such as hash constructions, random number generation, methods of ensuring integrity and authenticity, and finally, One-Time Passwords. Along with these labs and various activities contained within, there are numerous pieces of supporting materials. Additionally, multiple recommendations for further modernization of the course have been suggested.
