dc.description.abstract Financial literacy is lacking in our education systems across the United States. The important skills that embody financial literacy include budgeting, saving, and investing. These are topics that every person will have to face in their life and these skills set one up for a healthier, happier, and more secure life for themselves, their spouses, and their children. This project identifies the existing problem and then outlines research regarding the lack of financial education in schools across the country. Finally, this project identifies financial education resources that could be implemented throughout the education systems.
