dc.description.abstract	<p>The Iowa State College of Veterinary Medicine hosted the 8th Annual SCAVMA Scamper on Saturday, April 13. A TAC (The Athletic Council) certified and sanctioned 10K road race and 5K fun run was sponsored by the Iowa State Student Chapter of the AVMA. Each year several hundred runners participate in the 5K and 10K runs. A walk/jog has also been added to the event. Refreshments and an award ceremony followed the race. Medallions are given to the top three male and female finishers in nine age divisions in both the 5K and 10K race. All runners received at-shirt.</p>
