dc.description.abstract
Perovskite photovoltaic cells have a tunable bandgap that allows them to be used as Tandem cells with silicon cells. But due to the organic perovskite's degradation due to air exposure, light exposure, and heat, they have not been commonly used yet. But the use of inorganic perovskite like CsPbI2Br proves to be stable and does not degrade. Now, the use of CsPbBr3 is being tested with TiO2 and P3HT as electron and hole transport layers, and it shows great efficiency with both gold contacts and silver contacts which has a lower cost than gold. The use of an interlayer made of ZnSe, before the deposition of the perovskite creates a better deposition and gives an ever higher efficiency cell.
