dc.description.abstract <p>Callus cultures were established from 10 lines of <em>Zea mays </em>containing cytoplasms with normal and Texas cytoplasmic malesterile factors. Calli from the different lines varied in their growth characteristics. One callus line was treated with <em>Helminthosporium maydis </em>race T toxin extract.</p>
