Abstract

This is a written review of popular cognitive assessments including the Mini-Cog, Mini-Mental State Exam, and the Montreal Cognitive Assessment and different factors that can have a profound impact on the results of cognitive testing. Specifically, this review focuses on the possible negative impacts that benzodiazepines can have on cognitive testing and cognitive function over time.
