dc.description.abstract <p>Compared to the past, 2000 certainly has been the year of soybean insects. The bean leafbeetle received most of the attention. With unprecedented numbers, several thousands of soybean acres were sprayed. But late in the season, another insect surprise occurred with the discovery of the soybean aphid, Aphis glycines Matsumura.</p>
