As the new editors of the ISU Veterinarian we would like to welcome Dr. Richard Ross as the new Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine at Iowa State University. Dr. Ross served as Interum Dean from 1992 until 1993 and began in his current Deanship on July 1, 1993. Dr. Ross received his D. V. M. 'from Iowa State University in 1959. He continued his education at Iowa State University earning his M.S. and Ph.D. in Veterinary Bacteriology in 1960 and 1965 respectively. During his studies he worked as a Research Associate at the Veterinary Medical Research Institute.
