There are nearly always insects in our forage crops; sometimes they're serious, other times not. With the newer insecticides, however, we need not stand by and watch then take over when they do become serious.
This section, reporting on "resident instruction" or teaching in the Division of Agriculture at Iowa State College, like the earlier "Your Experimental Station Reports..." sections, is to keep you informed on what's going on in agriculture at your state college.
Doctors, physiologists and dietitians are convinced that nearly all overweight, as we commonly thinkof it, is the result of overeating. "Over-nutrition" may be regarded as a frm of poor nutrition, so overweight may be regarded as a nutritional problem.
The cost economics which come with different sizes of forms aren't the only factors which affect form size. But, coupled with risk and uncertainty, they do have an important influence on changes in farm size.
