Abstract
A yearling Hereford heifer was admitted on September 9, 1966, for examination and treatment of a skin disorder (fig. 1). The owner stated that he had lost two calves the previous year with the same condition. These two animals were autopsied and the only significant finding was a thickened, scaly hide.
