Abstract
The superior-anterior type of coxofemoral dislocation represents over ninety per cent of the dislocations in the dogs of this area, and reports from other areas indicate a comparable incidence of that dislocation. For that reason this paper will be confined to a discussion of this group only, permitting the reader to use his own resources on those unusual cases which he will seldom encounter.
