The team spanned 9 states, 11 institutions, 140 members and was funded from 2011 to 2017. The project team was awarded funding for five years with a six-year extension provided to finish the scope of work. The team assessed the environmental, economic and social impacts of climate variability on corn-based cropping systems. The project focused on ways to encourage resilient decision-making, maintain yields and reduce environmental impact. The team has a legacy website (<a href="https://sustainablecorn.org/" target="_blank">https://sustainablecorn.org</a>) which includes further details regarding the team's efforts in research, extension, and education. The website is no longer maintained and does not include all content produced by the team.</p> | |
