Plant Pathology and Microbiology

Abstract

<p>The Department of Plant Pathology and Microbiology intends to study plant pathogenic microorganisms and their interrelationships with the host plant. It participates in the interdepartmental majors of microbiology, toxicology, genetics, plant physiology, sustainable agriculture, and others.</p> <p><b>History</b><br />The Department of Plant Pathology, Seed and Weed Sciences was formed in 1981 from the division of the Department of Botany and Plant Pathology.
