dc.description.abstract |
The other day I heard an Iowa State co-ed remark vehemently to her roommate, "-and got mud splattered all over my new spring coat. Why, I just 'boiled!'" This sweet feminine young thing had evidently gotten so hot her temper had risen so high that it had exceeded 100 degrees Centigrade or 212 degrees Fahrenheit. Is that what happens to water. Do we provoke its temper so much by heat that it literally boils?
| |
