| dc.description.abstract | <p>Pesticides reach the soil environment by direct input for control of soil-dwelling pest species, and by several routes of indirect input. Examples of the indirect routes are: incidental application when spray drift or drip contacts the soil surface, incorporation into soil with plants or animals (or their wastes) that contain residues of pesticides, or through precipitation that is contaminated.</p> | |
