Abstract
Articles in the virtual issue about teaching and learning chemistry in high school that have appeared in the Journal over the past 100 volumes are summarized. The role of the Journal in fostering discussion of the chemistry content that comprises the high school curriculum is noted, along with changes in pedagogical approaches that have emerged over the years.
