Abstract
In recent years there have been a number of surveys and studies made in several states to determine the vocational intentions of high school students. No such study had been made among Negro students in city high schools in Alabama prior to the time this one was begun.
The surveys and studies of the vocational intentions of high school students have revealed some very outstanding facts. These facts have been very helpful in assisting superintendents, principals, and supervisors in setting up a more effective vocational program for their schools.
