A Study of the Vocational Intentions of Negro Students in Fourteen City High Schools of Alabama
Hardy, J. Garrick
Is Version Of
In recent years there have been a number of surveys and studies made in several states to determine the vocational intentions of high school students. No such study had been made among Negro students in city high schools in Alabama prior to the time this one was begun. The surveys and studies of the vocational intentions of high school students have revealed some very outstanding facts. These facts have been very helpful in assisting superintendents, principals, and supervisors in setting up a more effective vocational program for their schools.
The cover page reads "A Thesis submitted to the Graduate Faculty for the Degree of Master of Master of Science, Vocational Education." Degree granted by Iowa State College, 1933.
