Abstract
Resonant and nonresonant magnetic x-ray scattering measurements have been carried out on a single crystal of ThCu2Ge2. dc susceptibility measurements on single crystals clearly showed two transitions at T-N = 12.3 K and T-r = 9.6 K. The temperature dependence of both the resonant and nonresonant magnetic scattering were fit self-consistently and revealed a reorientation of the moments in the basal plane from [110] below T-t, to [010] for temperatures Tt
