Abstract
Problem Statement: JM Enterprises has a thin cardboard divider that is currently being cut manually, taking up unnecessary person-hours. The purpose of this project is to design and improve upon the process of cutting cardboard stock for a packaging process. JM Enterprises looks to automate this process to reduce person-hours spent operating this machine as well as make a better ergonomic design for employees. The cardboard must be cut to the proper length to be used between parts when packaging.
