dc.description.abstract	<p>Ringgold county is located in southwestern Iowa. It borders the state of Missouri on the south and is the fourth county east of the Missouri river. It lies within the Southern Iowa loess soil area and the soils of the county are partly loessial and partly glacial in origin.</p>
