How to improve the genetic potential of beef cattle? How to increase the reproductive performance of beef cows? How to use Iowa's abundant feed resources most efficiently? How to control cattle growth to produce more lean meat and less fat? How to treat and recycle animal wastes in safe and environmentally sound ways? How to measure meat tenderness and produce tender meat products? How to reduce processing and marketing costs?</p>
