| dc.description.abstract | <p>Swine dysentery was first described by Whiting, Doyle, and Spray in Indiana in 1921. It is a contagious infectious disease characterized by mucohemorrhagic diarrhea. The disease has been reported from most parts of the world. Swine dysentery is also referred to as vibrionic dysentery, bloody scours, bloody dysentery, and mucohemorrhagic diarrhea.</p> | |
