| dc.description.abstract | <p>Industrial production barely held its own during the first quarter of 1957. We're now in the summer lull, partially because of vacations. But industrial output is expected to pick up again this fall as the new automobile models come off the assembly line and as orders for Christmas business come in. A pattern seems to be developing of steady business in the early part of the year, with the upturn coming in the last half of the year.</p> | |
