dc.description.abstract
Science communication in practice and as a field of research occurs within a social context characterized by multiple forms of diversity. In light of this and the emergence of social justice as an increasingly recognized criteria for ethical practice, this essay asks the question whether there is a role for social justice in science communication and, if so, on what basis and what it would require from the field.
