Abstract
Stilbestrol fed in rations to cattle at Iowa State College stimulated liveweight gains as much as 37 percent and decreased feeding costs as much as 20 percent. Carcass quality at slaughter time was not materially altered by stilbestrol could be found in the beef tissues, according to Wise Burroughs, Joseph Kastelic and C. C.
